35 GPM Reverse Osmosis with E-Cell CEDI System

This complete system is loaded in container and ready to ship.

This water treatment system has been factory assembled, tested, and calibrated at time of production. This system was built in 2000 and has only logged 2,000 hours of use. System includes a set of original operating and instruction manuals. Unit will be sold "As-Is" with no specific warranty.

This system is designed to produce 28-35 GPM at the output of the CEDI System. This additional capacity allows the system to replenish the customer supplied demineralizer tanks after membrane cleaning or system servicing while at the same time supplying the 30-35 GPM demand of the plant. The E-Cell Electrodeionizer will polish the water procduced by the product staged reverse osmosis system to the specified contaminant levels of 5mg/l of TSS and TDS; .5 mg/l of Na + K + V + Pb.

Other Components:

E-Cell CEDI System - This system uses 3 E-Cell stacks with a 45 GPM capacity. A rectifier, brine injection, and recirculation pump are included. Reject from E-Cell is recirculated to the feed of the RO.

Multimedia Filtration System - This system consists of a single 48" diameter by 60" straight side shell vessel, which contains aprroximately 37 cubic feet of multimedia. The multimedia filter is skid mounted and is completely pre-piped and prewired.

Cartridge Prefiltration System -One cartridge filter housing is skid mounted on the RO and holds six 30", 1-micron cartridges. Housing is 316L stainless and rated for 150 PSIG service.

Antiscalant Injection System- Antiscalant is metered into the feed stream to impede scale formation on the RO membranes. This is mounted on the RO skid.

Caustic Injection System-This system injects caustic between the first and second pass RO in order to raise the pH and convert the CO2 to bicarbonate, which is then removed by second pass RO.

Cleaning Skid- This skid consists of a 170 gallon polyethylene cleaning solution storage tank, a recirculation pump, 5-micron filters, and all the controls, piping, hose and valving necessary. Capable of cleaning 2 tubes of membranes at a time. A heater for cleaning solution is also included.

Controls and Instrumentation - An Allen Bradley PLC and HMI control the system. The PLC and HMI are mounted in the control panel on the RO skid. The PLC and MMI control all the RO and accessory equipment functions. A remote I/O for each section of the system is included. pH measurement of the demineralized water and of the combined waste water is provided. Conductivity measurements of the feed to the RO, the RO permeate, and the E-Cell permeate are provided.
